Oklahoma Support Groups
Home Educators'
Resource Organization (HERO) of Oklahoma sponsors this website,
OklahomaHomeschooling.org. We are an inclusive statewide resource
organization; not a support group. However, we act as a networking tool
for support groups and homeschooling families in Oklahoma. HERO of
Oklahoma provides free listings
for Oklahoma homeschool support groups. Support group
leaders: please help HERO keep accurate information available to
homeschoolers seeking support by notifying us of changes.
Groups affiliated with HERO are autonomous, but agree not to
restrict membership; all are welcome. HERO-affiliated support groups,
listed below, are identified by this symbol:
Support groups not affiliated with HERO may or may not have
membership restrictions. Some groups are not accepting new members
or do not accept members outside their sponsoring organization (often a church).
Please note that these groups' policies do not necessarily
reflect the policies or beliefs of HERO of Oklahoma; philosophies and methods
espoused by individual groups vary widely, even among HERO affiliates.
The following listing is not a complete roster of Oklahoma

new groups form and others disband fairly frequently.

facilities as needed. While the leadership of GPCHE is Christ led, and each
individual family allows God to determine the path of their homeschooling,
as a service organization, we will strive to support and encourage anyone
who seriously desires to educate their children at home. We do not have any
criteria for membership to our group other than the fact that you homeschool
your children. Our children range in ages from 3 to 17 years old and we have
activities appropriate for each age group. The Coop has a small monthly fee
per child to cover expenses for materials. We welcome you to join us as
little or as much as you desire and are able.
