State Department of Education - 2500 North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73105-4599. The State Department of Education has no authority over Oklahoma homeschoolers, but some of the online resources intended for the public school community may be helpful to homeschoolers, particularly P.A.S.S. (Priority Academic Student Skills), the state mandated curriculum guidelines for public school students in kindergarten through the 12th grade. Also available: School Laws of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Requirements for High School Graduation, and a page for homeschoolers containing curriculum links and aids.

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education offer a wealth of online publications about preparing for college, including information about financial aid, what should be studied in high school, free summer academies, and more.

Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service: Division of
Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Oklahoma State University,
Stillwater, OK, 74078-0488. Some counties have educational "kits"
available for check-out. All counties have free or inexpensive educational
materials available on a wide variety of topics. Check your local
listings for the county agency nearest you.
