State Department of Education - 2500 North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73105-4599.  The State Department of Education has no authority over Oklahoma homeschoolers, but some of the online resources intended for the public school community may be helpful to homeschoolers, particularly P.A.S.S. (Priority Academic Student Skills), the state mandated curriculum guidelines for public school students in kindergarten through the 12th grade.  Also available:  School Laws of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Requirements for High School Graduation, and a page for homeschoolers containing curriculum links and aids. 

Oklahoma State Regents For Higher Education 1 (800) 858-1840 or (405) 524-9100.  State Capitol Complex, 500 Education Building, Oklahoma City, OK 73105.    The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education offer a wealth of online publications about preparing for college, including information about  financial aid, what should be studied in high school, free summer academies, and more.

Oklahoma Colleges and Universities - request Oklahoma college and university catalogs, admissions applications, and information about scholarships and financial aid.

Oklahoma Parent eNetwork, PO Box 55733, Oklahoma City, OK 73155.  Statewide online support and information network uniting Oklahoma families who have children (or adult dependents) with disabilities. Subscribe to join and receive the following information:  IDEA, IEP's & Due Process, An Explanation of Waivered Services & EPSDT, Respite Voucher Program Guidelines & Application, A List of Conferences & Workshops in the state, Information on the Home of Your Own Program, MiCASSA updates, and Special Needs Trusts & Estate Planning.  To join, send a blank email to okla-parent-network-subscribe@onelist.com.

The Oklahoma State Parks, Resorts and Golf website provides a wealth of information for relaxing in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service:  Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, 74078-0488.  Some counties have educational "kits" available for check-out.  All counties have free or inexpensive educational materials available on a wide variety of topics.   Check your local listings for the county agency nearest you.  Oklahoma 4-H programs are also sponsored by this office.
