I am the proud mother of four beautiful children and have been homeschooling them for 5 years now. We started out in California and now reside in here in Oklahoma.

We have gone through many different changes with regard to our style and adapting to the changing needs of our schedule and lifestyle. I am now a single, working mother...and still homeschooling. Wow, talk about change!

I love finding a good bargain and have found that our best resources for material are the internet and the public library:-)

Please feel free to contact me.

I choose to homeschool my son because I believe that the public schools are inadequate to meet his needs.

2001-02 is our 11th year to homeschool! Boy time flies! We (Neil, Dona and 5 children; ages 3 to 13) just moved to OK in Dec of 2001 and LOVE IT! We left our 21 yo homeschool graduate back in Kansas City (my home for 42 years) apprenticed out. We homeschool very eclectically...you try MANY things in 11 years! Biggest and best, we have created and are managing a support networking website for NE OK. It's primarily for people around Grand Lake O' the Cherokee; but definately not limited to, as our member roster will attest. We are offering many of the same services as HERO  does here, on a more local level.

We are a HS family of 6 (Tim-dad, Shawna-Mom, Jasmine-8, DJ-6,Amanda-5, Abigail-2). We have been homeschooling for 1 year so far.  Every one of my children has a different learning style and my son has some learning differences, so it has been quite a challenge to find something to fit them all.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Karima Webb karimawebb@yahoo.com 405-265-0047 Yukon OK
We are perhaps the most open-minded Muslim family that one would care to meet. Our children have a variety of interests.
I've homeschooled for many years and should be able assist new homeschoolers as well as old hands.

11 year veterans of homeschooling, we will graduate our oldest daughter and send her to college fall 2002! Children: Jan-17, Amber-15, Ross-12, Brenna-7.  We have unschooled, done unit studies, traditional schooled and done video/live satellite.  Whatever is best for the kids and the current home/life commitment goes.  I am a contact person for It's Grand to Homeschool (IG2HS), networking homeschoolers in the Grand/Hudson lakes region of NE OK.
